Most conventional sticks use irradiated or “flavor system” blends that contain carriers, seed oils, and preservatives to extend shelf life or mask poor-quality ingredients. We use non-irradiated, steam-sterilized organic powders to preserve flavor and nutritional integrity. Non-irradiated means the garlic and onion powders haven’t been exposed to ionizing radiation. While irradiation is allowed, it can degrade flavor and beneficial plant compounds. Steam sterilization is a cleaner method that retains the herb's natural potency.
