Why is the texture softer than other protein bars I've tried?Updated 21 days ago

Most protein bars get their firm, dense texture from nut butter bases and stabilizers - ingredients added specifically to mimic what consumers have been trained to expect from the category. We didn't do that. The Lineage Bar is bound with raw honey and coconut nectar - real food sweeteners that are naturally soft, sticky, and pliable. That's not a workaround. That's the point. The texture you're feeling is what a bar made without gums, glycerine, or industrial binders actually feels like.If it's different from what you expected, that's because it is different. Most bars are engineered to a texture. Ours is a result of the ingredients!

 Below 60°F it'll firm up; above 80°F it'll soften. If you prefer it firmer, refrigerate it. To temper, leave at room temp for 15–20 min before eating.
