The fruit is added to give you full spectrum animal-based nutrition. Carbs are essential for electrolyte maintenance, performance, sleep, mental clarity, and so many others.

However, we just put a small amount in here so that you get the desired nutrients. We did not put enough to make this sweet - as this is our base, unflavored version of this product.
